About Us

Mr. dr. Kerstin M.L.L. van de Ven LL.M. is a tax lawyer and notary candidate. She has been working for as a teacher and researcher for the Tax Law department at the Faculty of Law of Maastricht University since 2007 and had worked for the Fiscal Institute at Tilburg University. In 2015 she defended her thesis about Gifts and gift tax, a comparative study the Netherlands Belgium. Over the past 13 years she has worked for several notary firms in the provinces of Noord-Brabant and Limburg. She has several publications on her name en she is a regular speaker at courses. In recent years she has focused particular on cross border family property law. In addition, she has frequently participated in meetings of the Council of the Notariats of the European Union (CNUE). Her research field is the cross-border aspect of succession and donation.

 

 

Sebastiaan H.M.A. Wouters LL.M. specialises in European Union law and assists in research in backgrounds, non-Dutch law and European Union law.

Stefanie H.P. Vanstipelen LL.M. specialises in Dutch and Belgian civil law and assists in Belgium-related cases. She also works at Merlo & Delille Notarissen in Rekem (B).
